041824 Pearls & Gnus :)

Gnusletter - July 2021

This month's gnusletter will be a quickie, as there is too much going on to stop to write about all of it

We have a new (and dare I say vastly improved) patron site. Behold Maecenas, your home for perqs & patron pampering

Reservations now available for our Oct 1 WitchCraft hat crafternoon tea at Paris In A Cup
{We apologize for not offering these craft teas on weekends or after hours. The tearooms need to be able to serve their regular clients on Saturdays & Sundays, and evening events involve overtime for staff.}

Earn a craft charm when you submit photos to TeaTravellersSocietea@gmail.com for our upcoming digital scrapbook

I'm failing at rescheduling our book club gathering and could use your help. Would anyone be interested in a POTLUCK perhaps at a PARK?
I've selected the book The Witch's Heart by Genevieve Gornichec and hope you will join me

Dormant (but not forgotten) online magazine la Vie Sirene kicks off Midsummer with an issue on MAGIC, beginning tomorrow!

Reservations for our SPIRITS OF SAN DIEGO weekend getaway will open mid-August ... ooooooooooh

Fresh yummy mango salsa

INGREDIENTS
  • 3 ripe mangos, diced (see photos)
  • 1 medium red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped red onion
  • 1/4 cup packed fresh cilantro leaves, chopped
  • 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced
  • 1 large lime, juiced (about 1/4 cup lime juice)
  • 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon salt, to taste

INSTRUCTIONS
  1. In a serving bowl, combine the prepared mango, bell pepper, onion, cilantro and jalapeño. Drizzle with the juice of one lime.
  2. Using a large spoon, stir the ingredients together. Season to taste with salt, and stir again. For best flavor, let the salsa rest for 10 minutes or longer.
